About Me

Tamia (tuh-ME-uh)’s love of writing began at age 6, where she started adding some color to her favorite children’s stories and unpublished, original manuscripts. With three TV pilots written, a feature screenplay and a fantasy podcast and web series in the works, Tamia is excited to continue developing her craft and collaborating with her fellow peers. She pivoted from her B.A. in East Asian Languages and Civilizations from the University of Pennsylvania to earn her MFA in Radio-Television-Film with a specialization in Screenwriting at The University of Texas at Austin.

Tamia is a writer-director, TV Producer for PhillyCAM (Philadelphia Community Access Media) and a lover of all things magic and monsters.
